Keeping fuel stores running, and building the tools that make it easier.

IT for the largest Chevron/Texaco jobber in the Southeast. I support point-of-sale, networks, payment, and tank-monitoring systems across hundreds of locations.

POS management

When a store can’t take cards or pump fuel, every minute counts. My work is finding the real cause quickly and making the whole fleet easier to see at a glance.

  1. Fuel inventory dashboard

Pulls tank-gauge readings from stores into one view of gallons on hand and room for delivery, and flags readings that have gone stale.

    Inventory · tank monitoring
  2. Site reachability triage

A diagnostic that tells a dead circuit or firewall apart from a down register, so the store gets sent to the right provider the first time.

    Networking · diagnostics
  3. POS upgrades and configuration

Planning and tracking register software upgrades and payment configuration across the fleet, store by store.

    Point of sale · payments
  4. Merchant status monitoring

A daily check of every store’s card-processing connection. It reports newly offline and recovered sites and keeps the tracking workbook current, with backups.

AI automation

I use AI for the repetitive parts of support work, inside clear guardrails: troubleshoot first, verify every action, and step back as soon as a person takes over.

  1. Service desk assistant

Reads incoming store service messages, identifies the site and equipment, and walks the store through troubleshooting. When a technician is truly needed, it checks for duplicates, opens the job, and confirms it was created.

    Triage · dispatch
  2. Human handoff by design

If someone on staff has already replied, the assistant stands down. If it can’t verify a step, it reports the blocker instead of guessing.

    Safety · verification
  3. Scheduled operations checks

Recurring jobs that export data, compare it with the previous day, update shared records, and report only what changed.

    Monitoring · reporting

3D imaging

Store remodels, additions, and site surveys go better when everyone can see the building. I model sites in SketchUp and capture stores as self-hosted 360° walkthroughs, without paying for a subscription platform.

  1. SketchUp site models

Building and site models for remodels, additions, and new layouts, used to plan work before anyone breaks ground.

    Modeling · planning
  2. 360° store walkthroughs

Panoramas captured inside and around the store and pinned to a site map, with a drone-captured 3D exterior. Everything runs on our own hosting.
